Intercept Alpha Participation Terms

Last updated May 27, 2026.

These Alpha Participation Terms explain what it means to request or receive access to an early Intercept alpha build. They are intended to keep expectations clear while Intercept is still being tested and improved by KB1SLN Labs.

1. Alpha access is limited and time-bounded

Requesting access does not guarantee an invite. If you are approved, you receive access to a working Windows alpha build for a 30-day test window from the time of approval. After 30 days, access expires automatically. Reapplication for a future cohort may be possible but is not guaranteed.

2. Download links are short-lived

When alpha access is granted, you receive a time-limited download link valid for 60 minutes from the time it is issued. If your link expires before you download the installer, contact KB1SLN Labs to request a fresh link while your 30-day access window is still active. Do not share your download link — it is issued for your approved account only.

3. The alpha is early software

Alpha builds may be incomplete, change between releases, include defects, or behave differently across simulator setups. KB1SLN Labs may update, pause, expire, or withdraw alpha access as needed during testing.

4. Use the alpha for testing and practice only

The alpha is provided so selected testers can evaluate Intercept, practice supported scenarios, and provide feedback. Do not rely on the alpha for any real-world aviation, operational, instructional, certification, or safety-critical purpose.

5. Feedback is part of participation

By joining the alpha, you agree to provide practical feedback through the feedback channel KB1SLN Labs makes available. Useful feedback includes describing what worked, reporting defects with reproducible steps, sharing your simulator setup details, and providing logs or screenshots when they help diagnose an issue. You do not need to respond to every feedback request, but active participation is expected during the 30-day window.

6. Support during the alpha

Alpha testers can reach KB1SLN Labs for setup help, defect questions, and access issues by email at kb1sln@gmail.com. Alpha support is best-effort. Response times and resolution are not guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to help approved testers get Intercept running on the supported setup (Windows, X-Plane 12, ToLiss Airbus).

7. Do not redistribute alpha builds

Alpha access is for the approved tester only. Do not share installers, download links, license or activation information, private builds, or unpublished documentation unless KB1SLN Labs gives you permission.

8. Compatibility is intentionally narrow for alpha

The current alpha is focused on X-Plane 12, Windows, and ToLiss Airbus straight-in ILS practice. Future versions may expand to other aircraft, scenario types, and training workflows, but those are not promised in the alpha.

9. Your feedback may influence Intercept

We may use your comments, issue reports, logs, setup details, and suggestions to improve Intercept, prioritize fixes, and shape future releases. Please do not send confidential, sensitive, or third-party material that you do not want us to review for alpha support.

10. No purchase is required

The alpha request form does not ask for payment information. Commercial pricing, licensing, and purchase terms will be handled separately when Intercept is ready for a broader release.

11. Terms may change

These terms may be updated as the alpha program matures. If a material change affects current testers, we will make a reasonable effort to communicate it through the alpha feedback or invite channel.
